The 30 crore film has ruined the success of 'War 2', 'Coolie' and 'Param Sundari'! It is earning huge profits at the box office

From Hrithik Roshan's 'War 2', Rajinikanth's 'Coolie' to Siddharth Malhotra and Janhvi Kapoor's 'Param Sundari' are on the big screen. But beating all these movies, a small budget Malayalam movie is earning bumper money. This movie has taken over the box office and is collecting crores every day.

This film is Kalyani Priyadarshan's fantasy-adventure film 'Loka Chapter 1 Chandra'. Made under the banner of Dulquer Salman's production house Wayfarer Films, this film was released in theaters on 28 August 2025. The film was a bit slow at the box office on the first day, but after the first weekend, the collection of 'Loka Chapter 1 Chandra' increased tremendously and it is still printing a lot of money.

Box Office Collection of 'Loka Chapter 1 Chandra'

• According to Saccanilk, 'Loka Chapter 1 Chandra' earned Rs 2.7 crore at the box office on the first day.
• The film grossed Rs 4 crore on the second day and Rs 7.6 crore on the third day.
• 'Loka Chapter 1 Chandra' earned Rs 10.1 crore on the fourth day and Rs 7.2 crore on the fifth day.
• Now the initial figures of the sixth day of the film have also come out.
• 'Loka Chapter 1 Chandra' has earned Rs 7.35 crore so far (till 11 pm). 
• The film has collected a total of Rs 38.95  crore at the domestic box office.

'Loka Chapter 1 Chandra' is beating 'Coolie', 'War 2' and 'Param Sundari'
'Loka Chapter 1 Chandra' is beating 'War 2', 'Coolie' and 'Param Sundari' in terms of collection. While Dulquer Salmaan's film has earned Rs 7.35 crore on the sixth day, 'War 2' has been limited to only Rs 65 lakh, 'Coolie' to Rs 1.10 crore and 'Param Sundari' to Rs 4.25 crore.

Budget and star cast of 'Loka Chapter 1 Chandra'

• According to many reports, the budget of 'Loka Chapter 1 Chandra' is only Rs 30 crore.
• Apart from Kalyani Priyadarshan, the film, directed by Dominic Arun, also stars Nasleen K. Gafoor and Sandy Master in important roles.
