The key feature of this expressway-cum-industrial corridor is that it serves not only as a rapid transit route but also as a means of connecting each district's local characteristics with industry and markets. The 12 IMLC nodes being developed by the Uttar Pradesh Expressway Industrial Development Authority (UPIDA) will focus on a different sector in each district, ensuring optimal utilization of regional resources.
