According to reports, Ramsanehi, son of Raja Rampal, an elderly resident of the village, lived with his sons Omkar and Anil. The family had been experiencing tension over land for some time. Late Sunday night, around 11 p.m., Ramsanehi was resting in his home when his two sons suddenly attacked him, killing him on the spot.

Dispute over land division

It is reported that the deceased owned approximately 12 bighas of agricultural land, some of which had already been sold. A dispute had been brewing between the father and sons over the division of the remaining land. According to villagers, the sons committed this crime out of anger over Ramsanehi's decision to transfer some of the land to his nephew. It has also come to light that both accused sons were alcoholics, which led to frequent conflicts in the household. The village is mourning the incident.

The police have taken the body into custody and sent it for post-mortem. According to Inspector Ajab Singh, in-charge of Maudarwaja police station, a murder case has been registered against both accused. Police are attempting to arrest them and a thorough investigation is underway.
