To achieve self-sufficiency in critical minerals, PM Modi said, India has launched the National Critical Minerals Mission, which focuses on mining and production of critical minerals. Additionally, a ₹1,500 crore scheme has been launched to promote mineral recycling.
He mentioned the "Rare Earth Corridor," announced in this year's budget, which includes coastal states like Odisha, Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, and Kerala. This corridor will serve as an integrated network, creating a strong chain encompassing mining, refining, and manufacturing.
India believes that the 21st century is not only an era of economic competition but also a crucial moment to shape the future technological landscape.

Modi on Tuesday inaugurated the Samrat Samprit Museum, named after the grandson of Emperor Ashoka, at the Mahavir Jain Aaradhana Kendra Koba in Gandhinagar.
Addressing a religious gathering here, he remembered Acharya Kailashsagar Surishwar Ji and said that he travelled to every corner of the country for 60 years and collected 30 lakh manuscripts, copper plates, birch bark and collected centuries old knowledge.
