One girl told the young man that he was her lover, after which the groom and his family were stunned. Somehow people pacified the girls and sent them home.
The case is from Thana Binawar area. According to the information, a wedding procession from Bareilly had come to the village on Sunday. On Monday afternoon, when the new bride reached home and the relatives and villagers prepared for the welcome, Saumya, a resident of the town of Myayu, and her two friends reached the village by auto and started creating a ruckus. Saumya, claiming that the groom Rajat was her lover, accused him of infidelity and started screaming.
The girls were explained and sent home
As soon as the police got information about the incident, they reached the spot. The policemen explained to the three girls, after which they returned. Police station in-charge Ashok Kamboj said that the girls neither lodged any complaint in the police station nor gave any written complaint, all the three girls are residents of Badaun.
Conspiracy allegations
Gram Pradhan Himanshu Shakya said that I was in the wedding procession, when the procession returned, three girls were already present with the police. One of them, Soumya, was claiming that she was in a relationship with Rajat for a long time and wanted to marry him. But when the police questioned her, she could not give any satisfactory answer. The Pradhan called it a fraud. According to the Gram Pradhan, Rajat said that he and Soumya were just friends, there was nothing like a relationship.
