Here, an incident of stone pelting on the Alleppey Express train has come to light in Talbhatapada area of ​​Khetrajpur. This incident is being reported late night around 11:30 pm. The train was halted for some time between Khetrajpur and Talbhatapada. The train was stopped due to not getting green signal. Meanwhile, taking advantage of the situation, three youths pelted stones on a general bogie of the train. Although, no passenger is reported to be injured in this incident, but an atmosphere of panic was definitely created among the passengers. As soon as the train stopped, there was chaos due to the sudden stone pelting. Thankfully, the stones did not hit any passenger and a major mishap was averted.

Police arrested three accused

As soon as the information about the incident was received, the Railway Protection Force took immediate action and registered a case. After this, the search for the accused was started. In the RPF investigation, it was revealed that three youths were involved in this incident. All of them have been identified and arrested. Strict legal action is being taken against the arrested youths. Such incidents are a serious threat to the safety of railway passengers and cannot be tolerated under any circumstances.

Stones were also thrown at Tejaswini Express

Let us tell you that a few days ago, Tapaswini Express was similarly stoned near Lapanga station in Sambalpur. It is clear from these continuous incidents that the railways will have to tighten the security system, especially at those places where trains stop or move slowly. The railway administration and RPF are also appealing to the passengers that if they see any suspicious activity, they should immediately report it, so that action can be taken in time. At present, Alleppey Express has completed its journey normally and there has been no harm to the passengers.
