However, Bhaumik's father is unable to recover from the shock after the death of his young son. A video of this has also surfaced, in which Bhaumik's father is seen crying while hugging his grave. At the same time, the people present nearby separated Bhaumik's father from the grave.

Action taken against several officials

After this incident, many officials including the Police Commissioner were removed. The Karnataka High Court has also taken a tough stand on this incident. The High Court has taken suo motu cognizance and fixed June 10 as the date for hearing. At the same time, some people have also demanded to register a case against the Karnataka Cricket Association and the CEO of M Chinnaswamy Stadium. In this case, a Bengaluru court has sent an official of Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) and three people of the event management company DNA Entertainment to 14-day judicial custody.
