News Topical, Digital Desk : Amid ongoing negotiations with Iran regarding the nuclear deal, US President Donald Trump has issued a significant statement. He said that regime change in Tehran would be the best thing to happen. He also said that we have sent a large carrier group to Iran. "I want to make a deal, but it has been difficult to deal with them."

Addressing US troops in North Carolina, Trump said, "Sometimes fear is necessary. It's the only thing that can fix things. I thought last time this deal would be done, and they're also sorry it wasn't. That's what we did in Midnight Hammer."

The US military is making major preparations.
According to a Reuters report, the US military is preparing for a weeks-long military operation against Iran. Two US officials said that if President Trump orders an attack, it could be a much larger conflict than has ever been seen before. The Pentagon plans to send another aircraft carrier, fighter jets, guided missile destroyers, and thousands of additional troops to the Middle East.

Last year, the US launched Operation Midnight Hammer, a limited attack on Tehran's nuclear facilities. Stealth bombers flew directly from the US, struck Iranian nuclear sites, and returned. Iran responded with a limited attack on a US base in Qatar.

Iran can rival the US.
According to experts, Iran has a strong missile stockpile and is fully capable of responding to any US attack. US officials believe that if an attack occurs, a prolonged series of retaliatory attacks between the two countries could ignite a regional war. The Revolutionary Guard has already warned that if Tehran is attacked, they could target any US military base in the Middle East. It should be noted that the US has military bases in Jordan, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Bahrain, UAE, and Turkey.

What Netanyahu said:
Last week, US and Iranian officials held talks in Oman regarding the nuclear deal. Iran has indicated that it may agree to limits on its nuclear program in exchange for the lifting of sanctions, but it has refused to link its missile program to the talks. Meanwhile, Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu, meeting with Trump in Washington, said that any agreement with Iran must be based on Israel's security conditions.
