Traffic jams were seen on the roads going west from Tehran. Many people were seen going towards the Caspian Sea region. Queues were seen at petrol pumps and gas in Tehran. Food items are in short supply. Leave of doctors and nurses has been cancelled.
A citizen said that it seems as if no one is living in the city. However, Iranian government officials are constantly saying that everything is under control and they have not issued any guidelines for the public.
Iran banned digital products
Iran has banned government officials and their bodyguards from using all communication devices connected to the network. These include mobile phones, smart watches and laptops. People have even been asked to uninstall WhatsApp from their phones. Iran fears that Israel can track these devices and launch attacks.
