News Topical, Digital Desk : Kamal Haasan is a superstar of South Cinema. Whenever he comes on the big screen, he creates a storm at the box office with his films. Similar expectations were there from the recent film Thug Life. It was believed that this film of Kamal Haasan would be counted among the blockbuster movies of this year, but the result has been the opposite.
Kamal Haasan 's Thug Life was released in theatres on 5 June and it made a great collection on the very first day. But since the beginning of the second week, the collections have not even reached one crore. The condition of the film was very bad on the second Monday.
Thug Life box office collection
According to Saccanilk, Thug Life collected only Rs 29 lakhs on the 12th day at the domestic box office which is the lowest business till date. Earlier on Sunday, the film had earned Rs 90 lakhs. Made on a big budget, the film has done a business of only Rs 46.84 crores in 12 days.

Housefull 5 left behind
Akshay Kumar's multistarrer movie Housefull 5 was released a day after the release of Thug Life . But Housefull 5 has earned more than Kamal Haasan's movie. The film's collection has crossed Rs 160 crore. It also earned around Rs 4 crore on Monday.
