Chaos after car-bike collision in Amroha, rowdy youths beat up women and set the house on fire:

News Topical, Digital Desk : UP News : After a minor collision between a car and a motorcycle in the Naugawan Sadat police station area of Amroha, UP, the dispute took a violent turn. In support of the motorcycle riders, hundreds of goons from the other community from the neighboring village attacked the house of the relative of the car driver youth from the Muslim community and set the house on fire. Due to which the goods kept in the house were burnt and the cotton factory also caught fire.

In the incident, the animals tied in the house were burnt and a buffalo died of burns. The attackers beat the men and women present in the house with sticks and when the people of the area came after hearing the noise, the attackers fled from there. On receiving the information, senior officials along with a heavy police force reached the spot and brought the situation under control.

Women were also beaten

The victim Muslim alleges that one of his relatives was coming to his house in his car when his car had a minor collision with a motorcycle on the road a little distance away from the village. After this our guests came to our house and behind them a mob of rowdy youths from another community of the neighboring village attacked our house and set it on fire. Seeing the large mob of attackers we tried to run away but they surrounded us and beat us badly with sticks and also beat the women in our house. They looted their jewelry and carried out the incident of looting in the house and looted the cash kept in the house and took it away.

The rowdy youths set our house on fire which set our cotton factory on fire and everything was reduced to ashes. The animals tied in the house also died in the fire. One of our buffaloes also died. The attackers kept creating havoc for a long time and then when the people around came to rescue us, they fled.

Police force deployed in the village

SP Amit Kumar Anand said that the incident took place in Daulatpur Prithvipur village of Naugawan Sadat police station area. On receiving the information, he immediately reached the spot with the police force and a case is being registered on the complaint received from the victim's family. A police team has also been formed to search for the attackers. The attackers are from the Dalit community and the victim's family is from the Muslim community. Police force has been deployed in the village for the security of the victim's family and the situation here is normal now and the accused will be arrested soon.
