News Topical, Digital Desk : Congress MP Pramod Tiwari on Sunday demanded that the winter session of Parliament, which begins tomorrow, should have a detailed discussion on the special in-depth review, the Delhi terror attack and other important issues concerning the people of the country.

Tiwari also demanded a discussion on the national capital's poor air quality. He said, “SIR was carried out in the state in such a short time, which is impossible. There were explosions in the capital. Prime Minister Narendra Modi's foreign policy has completely failed. Apart from this, there should be a detailed discussion on air pollution in Delhi and other states. We have a strategic meeting at 6 pm today. Let's see what's on the BJP's agenda.”

What did Kiren Rijiju say?

Union Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju on Sunday appealed to all political parties to maintain decorum and avoid disruptions during the upcoming winter session of Parliament. He expressed hope that MPs will "work with a cool mind" so that proceedings can proceed smoothly as temperatures gradually drop with the onset of winter.

"Hopefully, the opposition will act with a cool mind."

Before the all-party meeting in Parliament, he said, "This is the winter session, we hope that everyone will work with a cool mind and avoid heated debates. There will be debate in Parliament and I hope there will be no disruptions. If we work with a cool mind, it will be beneficial for the country and the Parliament session will run smoothly."

He said the government's focus during the all-party meeting would primarily be on listening to the opposition's concerns. The winter session of Parliament begins on Monday, December 1, and will continue until December 19.
