A girl who had gone to party with her friends fell from the 13th floor of a building under construction and died on the spot. Police said that the girl was trying to shoot a 'reel' for social media. The girl's name was Nandini and she worked in a shopping mart in Bengaluru.
How did the accident happen?
The incident happened when she was partying with her friends late at night. The girl was partying with her two male and one female friend on the 13th floor of an under construction building in Rayasandra, Bengaluru. Due to ownership dispute, this building remains vacant and there is no safety cover on its lift shaft.
My foot slipped while making the reel
After a fight with her boyfriend at a late night party, the young woman went to the terrace to make a sad reel. While shooting the reel, her foot slipped and she accidentally fell into a shaft where a lift was to be installed in future. After the incident, her male friend fled from there but the female friend stayed back. She dialled 112 and reported the incident.
What did the police say?
Police officials said that the girl had gone to the under-construction building with a group of friends on Wednesday night. They were all partying and then the girl fell into a lift shaft." On shooting the reel, the police officer said that no such recording was recovered from her phone.
