Janhvi Kapoor follows in the footsteps of her mother Sridevi, making a grand entry in a major South Indian film.

News Topical, Digital Desk : The makers of director Buchi Babu Sana's much-awaited action film "Peddi" on Saturday unveiled actress Janhvi Kapoor's look from the film. The action thriller features her playing the character Achiyamma, who will be seen alongside Ram Charan in the lead role.

The makers released the first look poster of Janhvi Kapoor through the film's official handle Peddi. They wrote, “Our #Peddi love with a fiery attitude. Presenting the beautiful #JanhviKapoor as #Achiyamma. #Peddi Global release on March 27, 2026.”

The producers have released two posters of Janhvi Kapoor, which clearly indicate that the actress's character will be quite "fierce and fearless." In the first poster, Janhvi is standing on a jeep, her hands on her head and palms together. In the second photo, she is standing with her left hand on her head. It appears that her character may be that of a leader or a minister. The film is currently being shot in Sri Lanka.

A recently shot song

The Peddi unit recently wrapped up a grand shoot with 1,000 dancers. The song was shot during Vinayaka Chavithi, a holiday for most people. This grand song, featuring Ram Charan, was filmed in Mysore and choreographed by Jani Master.

Ram Charan has put in a lot of preparation for this role. He has completely transformed his look. Kannada superstar Shiva Rajkumar will also be seen in a supporting role in the movie.
