In the information given to the exchange, the company said that RailTel had received a work order from Bihar Education Project Council (State Project Director, Bihar Education Project Council) for improving the quality of education in Bihar under the PM SHRI scheme. However, this order worth Rs 209 crore has been cancelled recently.
On September 14, the company announced that it had received a Letter of Acceptance (LOA) for ₹209 crore from the Bihar Education Project Council (BEPC). The company stated that this project is aimed at improving the quality of education in Bihar under the PM SHRI scheme and is scheduled to be completed by September 11, 2026. RailTel owns a pan-India optical fiber network across the country and makes a significant contribution to the telecommunications sector through its extensive network.
Share Performance: On Friday, the company's shares closed at ₹371.60, up 0.46 percent. Over the past year, the company's stock has declined 10.25 percent.
