News Topical, Digital Desk : Anant Raj Ltd informed the stock exchanges on Saturday that its subsidiary Anant Raj Cloud has signed an MoU with the state government to develop new data centers and IT parks in Andhra Pradesh. The agreement was signed with the Andhra Pradesh Economic Development Board (APEDB), in which Andhra Pradesh's IT, Electronics and Communications Minister Nara Lokesh was also present. The company said that under this MoU, Anant Raj Cloud will invest approximately Rs 4500 crore, which will be implemented in two phases.

This investment will develop state-of-the-art data center infrastructure and cloud services. According to the company, this project will create 8,500 direct and 7,500 indirect employment opportunities and significantly strengthen the state's digital ecosystem.

Additional investment of 307 MW data center capacity This investment will be in addition to the company's existing 307 MW data center capacity, which is already under development. APEDB will provide coordination and other support with necessary government departments for this project to ensure timely execution. Currently, Anant Raj Limited operates 28 MW of IT load in Manesar and Panchkula and aims to expand this capacity to 307 MW by 2031-32, with a USD 2.1 billion capex plan. The company partnered with France's Orange Business in June 2024 to provide managed cloud services in India. The group reiterated that it is on track to achieve 117 MW of installed IT load capacity by 2027-28. Founded in 1969, Anant Raj was initially a real estate company. In the first half of 2025-26, the company reported revenue of ₹1,223.20 crore and a profit of ₹264.08 crore. 

Share Performance : On Friday, the company's shares closed at ₹616.70, up 0.21%. Over the past year, the company's stock has declined 5.37%.
