News Topical, Digital Desk : Basti district, known as the gateway to Purvanchal, has once again become a political arena. Today, to unite the Brahmin community, powerful Brahmin leaders from Purvanchal came together on stage and raised their voice against the Yogi government. This program, called Sanatan Samvad, was led by Jagadguru Shankaracharya Avimukteshwarananda, who leveled several serious allegations against the Yogi government and appealed to Sanatanis to unite and vote in the upcoming elections.
Basti's GIC grounds made history once again today, where Shankaracharya Avimukteshwarananda sounded the bugle call against the Yogi government. Furthermore, from this platform, former MLA Vinay Shankar Tiwari, a staunch opponent of Yogi Adityanath, openly called on Brahmins to unite and take up arms against the arrogant and unrighteous, anti-Sanatan government, ousting it from power this time.
Alankar Agnihotri addressed the public
At the same time, Alankar Agnihotri, a former PCS officer, while addressing the public said that a Brahmin can also pick up an axe if needed and now a Brahmin is not Sudama but Parashuram. Alankar also worked to instil enthusiasm among the Brahmins by giving the slogan of 'Har Ghar Farsa, Ghar Ghar Farsa'.
Avimukteshwarananda made serious allegations against the CM
Shankaracharya Avimukteshwarananda leveled serious allegations against Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. He stated that if the current BJP government had championed the cause of cows and Sanatan Dharma, the opposition would not have had a chance. Regarding the issue of declaring the cow as the mother of the nation, Shankaracharya stated that he would not support SP chief Akhilesh Yadav until he makes a party-level declaration declaring the cow as the mother of the nation.
'...then someone will field their own man in the election'
Avimukteshwarananda said that if no political party advocates for the cow as the mother of the nation in the upcoming 2027 elections, he will field one of his own. Shankaracharya said that 160 million animals were slaughtered and eaten in Uttar Pradesh, and the UP government failed to stop it. He said that if previous Chief Ministers did not ban the sale of cow meat, why hasn't the Yogi government banned it this time? This means they have no desire to prevent cow slaughter.
Meanwhile, questioning Yogi Adityanath, Avimukteshwarananda said, "How can one person hold two positions? When Yogi Adityanath is a saint, how is he improperly discharging this position while receiving a salary from the Uttar Pradesh government? He should relinquish one of the two positions, but he is refusing to do so. He continues to hold both positions while calling himself a Yogi Sanyasi, which is against decorum."
He said that no Shankaracharya wants to take the post of PM, CM or President because his post is the biggest among all these, said that no saint should be influential and not government official.
