News Topical, Digital Desk : Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan has said that there is no need for a CBI probe into the Sabarimala gold theft case as the High Court-monitored SIT investigation is progressing in the right direction.
Vijayan attacks Congress
Vijayan said the photographs of Congress MPs Adoor Prakash, Anto Antony and accused Unnikrishnan Potty with Sonia Gandhi raise questions as to how these people came to be in the same frame and how they got access to a high-security leader like Sonia Gandhi.
Emphasis on SIT investigation
Vijayan stated that the SIT investigation is being conducted entirely under the supervision of the High Court and that the government has no role in it. He added that the SIT must decide who to call for questioning based on the evidence and information it has.
The fight continues
Vijayan said the CPI and CPM have good relations and the LDF is united and stable. He said the government will not tolerate any political interference in the investigation.
