Lines of vehicles extended onto the road at major petrol pumps in the city, including Naka, Devkali, Udaya Chowraha, and Civil Lines. In response to the increasing pressure, many pump operators closed their pumps, further fueling public anger.

Responding to the panic among the public, petrol pump operators clearly stated that people should not pay attention to rumors, that there is sufficient supply of petrol and diesel at the pumps. There is no crisis of any kind. Despite this, people continued to wait for hours to fill their tanks unnecessarily.

The administration appealed

Meanwhile, the Ayodhya administration and the Petroleum Association have appealed to the public not to believe any rumors. The district has sufficient reserves of petrol, and there is no shortage. Police deployed reinforcements to control the crowds. Pump operators reported that about an hour and a half ago, the number of customers suddenly increased, and the situation became uncontrollable.
