News Topical, Digital Desk : The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) has started preparations to strengthen its foothold in Bengal ahead of the assembly elections to be held early next year. According to organization sources, this decision was officially taken in a coordination meeting held in Jodhpur, Rajasthan.
Its main objective is to expand the organization before the elections and to spread its ideology more deeply to every household in the state. After reviewing the matter, the top leadership of the Sangh found that the organization is now in a weak position in North Bengal, so a plan has been prepared to increase branches and activate local campaigners with special emphasis there.
Instructions for opening new branches
Apart from this, instructions have been given to immediately open new branches in the districts of South Bengal where there are less branches. RSS is entering its centenary year on Vijayadashmi this year. On this occasion, it has been decided to run a special campaign across the country. The main objective of the campaign is to present to the public the history of how the Sangh has been engaged in the work of nation building overcoming various obstacles in the last 100 years.
Mohan Bhagwat will come to Bengal soon
RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat has already explained the philosophy of the organization in a meeting in Delhi. There are plans for him to visit Bengal soon. According to information, he will directly participate in special conferences organized in different parts of the state. The RSS campaign across the state will begin on the day of Mahalaya. This program includes citizens' conference and home contact campaign. At the local level, the pracharaks will go from mohalla to mohalla, door to door to propagate the ideology of the RSS. Along with this, there is also a plan to establish direct contact with the common people on the road.
According to sources, separate Hindu conferences will also be organized in North Bengal and South Bengal in January next year. All India leaders of the Sangh will be present in these conferences. It is believed that just as the message of the organization will be spread through these conferences, in the same way the RSS will also prepare a strong base for the BJP before the elections.
What political experts say
Political experts believe that this initiative of the RSS will give a new dimension to the ongoing conflict between the ruling Trinamool Congress and the BJP in the state politics. Organization sources claim that as a result of this planned program, the influence of the RSS will become more evident before the elections.
