News Topical, Digital Desk : The Congress party has made a major change in Haryana. The party has appointed Rao Narendra Singh as the new state president of the Haryana Congress. Bhupinder Singh Hooda has been appointed the Leader of the Opposition in the Assembly.

Rao Narendra Singh has replaced Udaybhan as the Haryana Congress chief. The party has changed its state president nearly 10 months after suffering a crushing defeat in the state assembly elections.

Rao Narendra Singh has been a three-time MLA and minister.

Rao Narendra Singh is a three-time MLA and has also held ministerial positions in the Haryana government. He won the assembly elections from Ateli in 1996 and 2000, and from Narnaul in 2009. He also served as the state's Health Minister.
