The first look of ZEE5's original film, Bhagwat Chapter 1, has been revealed. It stars Arshad Warsi as Jeetu Bhaiya, also known as Jitendra Kumar. This marks the first time the two actors will be seen together in a film.

Bhagwat's first look out

Arshad Warsi is dressed in a police officer's uniform, his mirror-like sunglasses reflecting the bustling city below. This image is juxtaposed with Jitendra Kumar's face, both sporting intense looks. Several photographs of young women pasted on the wall serve as the film's backdrop, suggesting or hinting at either a disappearance or a series of murders.

When will Bhagwat be released?

Directed by Akshay Shere, Chapter One: Rakshasa looks like it could be the beginning of a long franchise centered on a villain or a series of mysterious events. On Friday, ZEE5 announced its upcoming original film Bhagavat on social media. It shared the first look poster of the film on Instagram and captioned it, “And we thought we'd run out of plot twists for 2025, but the biggest twist is here! Bhagavat is coming to blow your mind. Inspired by true events. Bhagavat is coming soon, only on ZEE5.”

Starring Arshad Warsi and Jitendra Kumar, 'Bhagwat' is based on Inspector Vishwas Bhagwat (Warsi) who investigates a missing woman case that initially seems normal but gradually turns quite complicated.
