At his recent Hong Kong concert, singer-actor Diljit Dosanjh informed the audience about Rajveer's condition and urged everyone to pray for him. He said, "We have a very dear brother. He is a very wonderful singer, Rajveer Jawanda. He had a bike accident." Diljit appealed to fans to pray for the singer, saying, “Please pray for him. Prayers have a great impact. May he get well soon. He should come back to us. He should come to our show. He is a very beautiful singer, Rajveer Veera.”
Talking about Rajveer K, Diljit said, “His shows are beautiful. I think he's never been involved in any controversies. He loves us very much. Please pray for him. When you pray for someone with all your heart, they will definitely fulfill your prayers.”
Earlier, Diljit had also expressed his concern on social media, writing, "Many well-known Punjabi singers, including Kanwar Grewal, Gurdas Maan, and Babbu Maan, appealed to people to pray for Jawanda's speedy recovery. Grewal, who was at the hospital, said that doctors were giving Jawanda the best possible treatment and urged people not to spread rumors about her health."
How did the singer's accident happen?
Jawanda, 35, was seriously injured in an accident in Himachal Pradesh's Solan district on Saturday while he was on his way to Shimla on a motorcycle. The accident occurred in the Baddi area when he lost control of the motorcycle. Jawanda, a resident of Pona village in Jagraon, Ludhiana, gained recognition with "Kali Jawanda Di". He is also known for films like Tu Dis Painda, Khush Reh Kar, Sardar, Surname, Afreen, Landlord, Down to Earth and Kangana. Jawanda also acted in the 2018 Gippy Grewal-starrer Subedar Joginder Singh.
