News Topical, Digital Desk : A division bench of the Rajasthan High Court has stayed the order of a single bench cancelling the Sub Inspector (SI) Recruitment Examination-2021. However, the ban on posting of selected candidates will continue till further orders.

Stay on the order to cancel the ASI recruitment exam

Senior advocate RN Mathur, appearing for the petitioners, argued that the single bench order cancelling the exam was wrong as even the government was not in favour of cancelling the recruitment. The SOG had already arrested those involved in the paper leak, making it possible to distinguish between tainted and genuine candidates. Cancelling the recruitment would mean immediate dismissal for those who are already in training or on the job and those who are genuine.

Let us tell you that on August 28, a single bench of Justice Sameer Jain had canceled the SI Recruitment-2021 conducted for 859 posts and also ordered to include the candidates of 2021 in the recruitment process of 2025. It is noteworthy that so far more than 150 people have been caught in making dummy candidates sit in this examination and paper leak, including two former members of Rajasthan Public Service Commission.
