
News Topical, Digital Desk : Q4 Results: Torrent Power has released the results for the fourth quarter (Q4) of the financial year 2025. The company's net profit has increased from ₹ 430.2 crores to ₹ 1,059.6 crores on an annual basis. It has registered more than double growth.
The company's total earnings declined marginally from ₹ 6,528.6 crore to ₹ 6,456.3 crore. At the same time, EBITDA has increased from ₹ 1,109 crore to ₹ 1,130.4 crore. EBITDA margin has also increased from 17% to 17.5%, which shows improvement in the operational capacity of the company.
Announcement of dividend
The company has also announced a final dividend of ₹ 5 per share for the financial year 2023-24. Torrent Power has released standalone and consolidated audited business results for the quarter and financial year ended March 2025. The company said that the auditors' report has been given without any amendments. The company has recommended a final dividend of ₹5 per share on 50,39,03,543 equity shares of face value of ₹10 to its shareholders, which will be paid on or before September 4, 2025 after approval in the upcoming Annual General Meeting (AGM). Earlier, the company had also paid an interim dividend of ₹14 per share during the fourth quarter of the financial year 2024-25. Along with this, the company has also announced plans to issue non-convertible debentures (NCDs) up to ₹3,000 crore through private placement, which will be raised in one or more installments.
Stock Status Torrent Power Limited shares witnessed strength on Monday and closed at ₹1,452.85 with a gain of 1.79%. The stock touched a high of ₹ 1,457.25 and a low of ₹ 1,420.50 during the day. The stock opened on a positive note today as against its previous close of ₹ 1,427.30. The company has a 52-week high of ₹ 2,037.35 and lowest of ₹ 1,207.20. Torrent Power has a total market capitalisation of ₹ 73,209.63 crore and a free float market cap of ₹ 27,564.01 crore. The company has an EPS (TTM) of 45.20 and a PE/PB ratio of 32.14 / 5.50. The company is listed on the BSE 200 index and trades under the 'Integrated Power Utilities' category.
