Earlier, Manjummel Boys and L2: Empuraan have also joined the 200 crore club. If we look at the latest report of box office statistics website Saknilk, it is known that the film which was released on 25th April has done a business of 208 crores worldwide till the 18th day.

Thudaaram drew massive crowds to theatres on Sunday. The evening show saw 79.11% occupancy, afternoon 73.83%, night 66.82%, and morning 44.05% occupancy. The film has set a record for the highest grossing film of all time in Kerala. It may soon surpass L2: Empuraan's 105 crore collection in India.
The success of L2: Empuraan and Thudaram has made Mohanlal shine again at the box office. After Lucifer in 2019, some of his films were lackluster, but Thudaram reminded of his popularity like the Drishyam franchise. The story of this film has glimpses of a thriller like Drishyam.
