The company's net profit increased 74% year-on-year from ₹18 crore to ₹31.3 crore. Revenue also recorded a strong 43.8% increase, from ₹888.6 crore to ₹1,277.9 crore. EBITDA increased 85.1% from ₹38.9 crore to ₹72 crore. Margins also improved during the quarter to 5.6% compared to 4.4% last year.
According to the company, the strong performance was primarily driven by increased demand for copper tubes due to growing demand from the HVAC industry. This segment's contribution to the company's total revenue increased from 17% last year to 27% in the current quarter, improving profitability and supporting its strategy to expand domestic production capacity and reduce import dependence.
