Meanwhile, Bengaluru police have made a major breakthrough. They have arrested a woman serving a sentence in Ahmedabad Central Jail for sending several emails containing bomb threats to schools across the city.

In fact, on the night of June 14th, a public school in Bengaluru received a bomb threat. Following this threat, the school principal filed a complaint with the police. The police registered a case and began an investigation.
Following similar hoax bomb alerts in Bengaluru, the city police commissioner directed the North Division Cyber Crime Unit to take over all related cases. During the investigation, police discovered an unexpected suspect, Rene Josilda, a female software engineer imprisoned in Gujarat.

According to reports, Joshilda was brought to Bengaluru on a body warrant on October 28th. During her interrogation, the police confessed to sending bomb threat emails not only to schools in the city, but also to institutions in Mysore, Chennai, and Gujarat.
After detailed interrogation, Joshila was sent back to Ahmedabad Central Jail on October 31, where she is still in custody.
What did the police say?
In this case, the police said that due to Joshilda's technical knowledge, she created multiple WhatsApp accounts using VPN and virtual mobile numbers created through the Gate Code app and hid her digital footprint while issuing threats.
