News Topical, Digital Desk : Salman, the accused of raping a six-year-old boy, has finally been arrested by the police. He was arrested at 1 a.m. on Thursday and Friday night in Gandhi Nagar, Bhopal. Gandhi Nagar police took him into custody and handed him over to the Gauharganj police.

Gauharganj police took him with them and departed. Further action will be taken there. According to information received, during preliminary interrogation, the accused Salman told police that after the incident, he reached Bhopal via the forest and then walked to the Gandhinagar area.

It is being told that the accused Salman was looking for a rented room in Ward 11 of Gandhi Nagar and the police arrested him from the same area.

As soon as the information about Salman's arrest was received, workers of Jai Maa Bhavani Hindu organization also reached the police station but before that he had already been handed over to Gauharganj police.

It is noteworthy that various Hindu organizations and individuals in Raisen district have been continuously protesting, demanding action against the accused, Salman. They were demanding the death penalty or an encounter for the accused.

Reached Bhopal after the incident on November 21

On the evening of November 21st, 23-year-old Salman lured a 6-year-old girl into the woods on the pretext of giving her chocolates, raped her, and then fled. The girl was found crying by her family. Even at the Civil Hospital, she was denied timely treatment, and an ambulance was not available to take her to Bhopal.

With the help of people, she was taken to AIIMS in a private vehicle and admitted, where she underwent surgery. The girl's condition is currently improving. Police had announced a reward of 30,000 rupees for the accused, Salman, who had been absconding for seven days. He had fled to Bhopal after committing the crime.

Raisen SP was removed by the Chief Minister

The government took a firm stance on the ongoing protests in Raisen district demanding the arrest of the accused. Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav held a meeting with senior police officers the previous night.

During this time, he expressed his displeasure over the failure to arrest the accused of raping a girl in Raisen. He also expressed his displeasure over the police action in the road blockade case, calling it lax.

He ordered the removal of Raisen SP Pankaj Pandey and his attachment to the headquarters. Ashutosh Gupta was appointed as the new SP of Raisen in his place.
