In this report, the more places one can visit without a visa, the stronger the passport is considered. According to the 2025 report, Pakistan's passport has been included in the world's weakest passports.
In which list of countries is Pakistan included?
With a Pakistani passport, one can travel to only 32 countries without a visa. However, Pakistan's ranking has improved a bit and now it has come to the 96th position.
It has been told in this report that the situation in Pakistan is definitely a little better than some countries, which include countries like Afghanistan, Syria, Iraq, Yemen and Somalia where the situation is very bad.
Pak passport was the fourth weakest in 2024
In the 2024 report, Pakistan's passport was listed as the fourth weakest passport, along with Yemen. In 2025, it has improved slightly, but the situation is still worrying.
This index analyses the travel facilities of 199 passports and 227 countries. It looks at how many countries can be visited on a passport without visa, visa on arrival, e-visa or travel permit.
good news for india
There is good news for India in this report. India has jumped 8 places in the last 6 months and the Indian passport which was ranked 85th in the 2024 report has now reached 77th place.
On the other hand, countries like America and Britain are gradually coming down. America is now at the 10th position and Britain is at the 6th position. A few years ago, both these countries used to be at the top. In 2014, America was at the top and in 2015, Britain got the first position.
