News Topical, Digital Desk : I will not sacrifice my child for this world, but I will not sacrifice this world either. We will defeat the enemy together, like a family. This dialogue makes it clear that the superheroes of Marvel Cinematic Universe's (MCU) 37th film Fantastic Four: First Steps will fight together with their families this time.

In the year 1960, astronauts Dr. Reed Richards aka Mr. Fantastic (Pedro Pascal), Sue Storm (Vanessa Kirby), Ben Grimm (Ebon Mass-Backrek) and Johnny Storm (Joseph Quinn) go into space. There, due to a mistake, cosmic rays change their DNA. They return with different superpowers. Reed gets the flexibility of rubber. Sue can become invisible. Ben's body becomes like a huge stone, while Johnny becomes a ball of fire. Sue becomes pregnant. The threat of Galactus (Ralph Ineson) looms over the Earth. He is hungry. He wants to eat the Earth. He makes a deal with Sue that if she gives her child to eat, he will not eat the Earth. Sue's child has many superpowers. Sue refuses to do so

What is the story of the film?

The story of the film has been written by Eric Pearson, Jeff Kaplan, Lan Springer, Cat Wood. They have not connected the story or the characters to any MCU film or the Fantastic Four series. In such a situation, the audience does not have to put any effort to remember the previous story and characters. Here too, the superheroes are saving the earth, but the specialty is that this time they do not sacrifice their family. The story is set in the year 1960, which brings freshness to it, but does not technically match the era. Matt Shakman, director of some episodes of the famous web series Game of Thrones and the Wandavision mini series, has experience in bringing together many characters and using them properly, which is also seen in this film.

In the climax, the scene where Galactus comes to the streets of New York and the four superheroes fight with him is amazing. Mother is the real superhero, a glimpse of that is also seen in the climax. Jess Hall's cinematography gives the feel of the 1960 era through the scenes. It is clear from the post credit scene of the film that these four new superheroes will also make an entry in the film Avengers Doomsday to be released next year.

How is the acting?

Pedro Pascal fits the image of a calm but intelligent superhero. Vanessa Kirby plays the role of a mother and a superhero with great understanding. Joseph Quinn has all the qualities to become the favorite superhero of MCU. The role would not have been easy for Eban Mas-Backrek and Ralph Ineson, because their characters are made of heavy CGI (Computer Generated Imagery). Still, Eban, who is made of stone, makes us feel the pain of not looking beautiful through his acting. Ralph, on the other hand, reminds us of the villain Thanos of the Avengers movie, who is scary even without screaming.
