Recently, Alam has openly discussed about his selection in director Mohit Suri's Saiyyara in a special conversation with Jagran and told how he got selected for this movie. Let's know about it in a little more detail. 

Alam spoke about Saiyara

Actor Alam Khan has played the role of KV, the best friend of actor Ahaan Pandey's character Krish in the film Saiyaara. He says, 'I gave six auditions for this film. This is the only way to get work. You don't get work because of stardom. During the auditions, I used to ask Mohit sir again and again whether I was doing it right.

So he said that I had told Shanoo (casting director Shanoo Sharma) that I need the best actor for this role.' Talking about the change after Saiyyara, Alam says, ‘Now messages are coming from big people of the industry.’

Although Alam is a well-known name after the Kota Factory web series, he did not get the benefit of that in getting this film. Alam has given his hundred percent in his role in Saiyara and everyone is praising his acting a lot. It is believed that after Saiyara, Alam will be seen playing side roles in many more movies.

26-year-old Alam Khan has been active in the field of acting since childhood. He participated in Colors' Chak Dhoom Dhoom in 2010. Apart from this, he has also been the first runner up of the Chote Miyan reality show. Not only this, as a TV actor, he has also appeared in Hamari Devrani, Mahabharat, Santoshi Maa and Savdhaan India. 

Saiyyara rocks at the box office

Alam Khan's Saiyyara is making a lot of noise at the box office commercially. Within 6 days of its release, this romantic thriller has created history by earning more than 150 crores. Along with this, Saiyyara has done wonders by leaving behind many big hits of this year like Sitare Zameen Par, Raid 2 and Housefull 5. It is believed that this film can do a business of up to 300 crores.
