News Topical, Digital Desk : After signing the long-pending India-UK free trade agreement, Prime Minister Narendra Modi spent some time with his British counterpart Keir Starmer. PM Modi had a 'Chai Pe Charcha' with British Prime Minister Starmer.

PM Modi shared two photos on Instagram and wrote, "Chai pe Charcha with PM Keir Starmer at Chequers... making India-UK ties even stronger." This is PM Modi's fourth visit to the UK since assuming office in 2014.

India-UK Free Trade Agreement signed

This 'Chai pe Charcha' took place before official substantive talks between the two Prime Ministers. During PM Modi's visit to the UK, Piyush Goyal and Jonathan Reynolds signed the India-UK Free Trade Agreement.

PM Modi and Starmer met Buckinghamshire Street Cricket players and presented them with a signed T20 World Cup bat. They also viewed the Premier League trophy, which reflects the popularity of football among Indian youth.
