News Topical, Digital Desk : A leading human rights organisation on Friday informed that the Pakistan Navy recently carried out undeclared missile tests in the mountainous regions of Ormara, Kolwah and Awaran in Balochistan. Citing evidence and videos that emerged on August 17, the human rights wing of the Baloch National Movement PANK said that several missiles were fired from the Jinnah Naval base in Ormara on July 11. They were aimed at the rugged mountain ranges of central Balochistan.

Condemning the incident, the human rights body said the incident reflects a broader pattern in which Balochistan has been repeatedly used as a testing ground for Pakistan's missile programme.

Pank said that the areas where the missiles fell are not uninhabited. Such undeclared missile tests are a threat to our lives and property.

The organization said that the falling of missile debris in areas near human settlements and pastures is a matter of serious concern. Pank has demanded an immediate international investigation into these actions of Pakistan.
