After this announcement by Pakistan, Indian agencies are keeping a close watch on this test. This test is taking place at a time when on Tuesday terrorists attacked Pahalgam in Jammu and Kashmir and killed 26 civilians.

News agency ANI quoted defence sources as saying, "Pakistan has issued a notification to test a surface-to-surface missile off Karachi coast within its Exclusive Economic Zone on April 24-25. Relevant Indian agencies are closely monitoring all developments."
