News Topical, Digital Desk : After the Pahalgam terror attack, tension between India and Pakistan has increased a lot. Modi government is continuously making plans to take strict action against Pakistan. Pakistan fears that Indian army can attack it anytime. Meanwhile, United Nations Secretary General Antonio Guterres has expressed concern over the possibility of war between the two countries.

 

He said, "The tension between India and Pakistan is at its highest in many years. I greatly respect and am grateful to the governments and people of both countries and their important contribution to UN peacekeeping, so I am saddened to see that relations between the two countries have deteriorated so much."

 

Those responsible need to be punished: Antonio Guterres 

He further said that I once again strongly condemn that (Pahalgam) attack and express condolences to the families of the victims. Targeting civilians is unacceptable and those responsible for it must be brought to justice through credible and legal means.

 

He further said that the United Nations stands ready to support any initiative that promotes de-escalation, diplomacy and a renewed commitment to peace.

 

Let us tell you that on 22 April, 26 innocent civilians were killed in a terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Kashmir. The terrorists asked people about their religion and then shot them. After this incident, India took many strict decisions against Pakistan. 

 

At the same time, the Modi government has given the Indian Army a free hand to take action against terrorists. Let us tell you that PM Modi is continuously holding high-level meetings with the officers of the Indian Army.
