News Topical, Digital Desk : AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi, while mocking Pakistan in his statement, condemned the US attack on Iran's nuclear installations and called it a violation of international laws. He expressed concern that after the US bombing, some Arab countries in the Middle East may move towards making nuclear weapons due to Israel's "blackmailing and hegemony". He said, "The attack (by the US) on Iran's nuclear installations is a violation of international law, UN chapter, NPT. It also violates the Constitution of the United States as it states that a country cannot wage war without the permission of Congress."

He further said that US National Intelligence Chief Tulsi Gabbard had also said earlier that Iran has nothing (nuclear weapons). Owaisi alleged that the US is hiding the genocide happening in Gaza. Owaisi said that Israel has 700-800 nuclear weapons, which have not signed the NPT. Also, inspectors of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) are not allowed to inspect them. He said that in five to ten years Iran will enrich uranium up to 90 percent and it cannot be stopped.

Mocking Pakistan, he asked if it was seeking a Nobel Peace Prize for US President Donald Trump for the attacks on Iran. The Lok Sabha MP questioned whether Pakistan supported Trump only to drop bombs on a sovereign nation. "We should ask Pakistanis if they want Trump to get the Nobel Peace Prize," Owaisi said in Hyderabad. Mocking Pakistan's military leadership, the AIMIM leader said, "...did Pakistan's general (Army Chief Asim Munir) have lunch with the US President for this? Today they have all been exposed."

"We should also remember that there are over 16 million Indians living in the Gulf and Middle East, and if a war breaks out in that region, which is unfortunately very likely, it will have a serious impact on Indians living there," he told ANI. He said the region is important for India's economy. "The investments that Indian companies have made in all these Arab countries or Gulf countries, and a large part of the foreign investment comes from this region,"
