News Topical, Digital Desk : Elon Musk's company, SpaceX, has achieved a major milestone. On October 13th, SpaceX successfully conducted the 11th test of its Starship Version 2 rocket. This was the company's final test of this mission, which was successfully completed.

According to reports, the flight lasted approximately one hour and accomplished all its objectives. Launched from the Starbase Center in Texas, the Super Heavy booster landed safely in the Gulf of Mexico just 10 minutes after launch. Starship circled half the globe in space. Elon Musk himself witnessed the entire process from his office.

Safe splashdown in the Indian Ocean

After launch, Starship released a mock satellite into space. It also shut down its engine in space and restarted it. This is Elon Musk's dream mission, which will enable easy access to Mars and the Moon. After completing all its tasks, the rocket returned to Earth. Braving the heat, it splashed down safely in the Indian Ocean. Regarding this mission, the company said that the data obtained from this mission will be used to improve the next model.

SpaceX achieved success after several tests

It's worth noting that several Starship tests earlier this year were unsuccessful. However, the team's confidence increased after a second successful launch after repeated attempts. Now, SpaceX is preparing to launch Starship version 3. It is reported that it will be more powerful than the previous two versions.

Version 3 is expected to be approximately 408 feet (124.4 meters) tall. The Future Starship will be 466 feet tall. Elon Musk showcased the Future Starship in May of this year. The Future Starship is scheduled to launch in 2027.
