India has taken strict steps

A day after the terrorist attack in Pahalgam in which 26 people were killed, a meeting of the Cabinet Committee on Security (CCS) was held on Wednesday under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. India's countermeasures to the attack were finalized in the meeting. Security forces have been instructed to be kept on high alert. Giving a strong message to Pakistan, India has suspended the more than six decade old Indus Water Treaty. Many other decisions have also been taken, including the closure of the Attari post.

After the suspension of the Indus River Water Treaty, the Pakistani government has also held a major meeting.
