Sunaina told how she was when she had to stay in rehab for 28 days and what she used to say to Hrithik Roshan on the phone.

Sunaina's condition had become like this due to alcohol

While talking to News18 show Sha, Sunaina Roshan recalled the bad times when she was undergoing treatment for alcohol addiction. Sunaina said, "There was a time when only my family was allowed to call me. At that time, I had a lot of fights with my brother on the phone. I used to keep yelling at him that I have to come home".

Sunaina further told what the Krish actor's reaction was when she told this to her brother. She said, "He used to tell me that no, you are not coming home now, you will get permission to come home only after you finish your course. It was very difficult to stay there, but he used to say let her stay there, because when she faces difficult times, only then will she be able to come out of it".

Sunaina said even my credit card was taken away

Before this interview, in a special conversation with Siddharth Kannan, Sunaina Roshan also told how much she had to struggle to give up her alcohol addiction. She said,

"It was very difficult because alcohol addiction increases when you have no control over your drinking. I was going through a very difficult time at one point, due to which I was completely emotionally broken. To control my emotions, I started drinking alcohol. I think that was the worst time of my life, when I would fall from the bed and hurt myself. For some months, I was not given a single penny, even my credit cards were taken away, this situation was very bad for me."

Let us tell you that 46-year-old Sunaina has married twice. In the year 2000, Hrithik Roshan's sister married Ashish Soni, with whom she has a daughter Sunarika. In 2009, she married Mohan Nadar for the second time. Apart from cervical cancer, Sunaina has also struggled with diseases like diabetes, fatty liver, hypertension, sleep apnea, cardiac related diseases, after which she lost a lot of weight.
