Imanvi started her post by expressing condolences on the attack in Pahalgam. In this, she has also clarified about being linked to the Pakistani army. Sharing a long note, the actress wrote, 'I want to address the rumors that are spreading hatred. Attempts are being made to malign my identity through fake news sources and wrong information is also being given about my family.'

Talking about her connection to India, she wrote in the note, 'I am a proud Indian-American who speaks Hindi, Telugu, Gujarati and English. I was born in Los Angeles, California, at that time my parents were living in the United States. After this they became American citizens. After completing my studies in the USA, I started making my career as an actress and dancer. Despite having little experience in this field, I got a chance to work in Indian cinema, for which I feel grateful.
