News Topical, Digital Desk : After the terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, India retaliated by air strikes on 9 terrorist hideouts in Pakistan and PoK. This operation was named 'Operation Sindoor' by the Indian Army.

After this action of India, there was a lot of panic in Pakistan and then Pakistan tried to attack India's Jammu and Kashmir, Punjab, Rajasthan and Gujarat with drones, which was foiled in the air by the Indian defense system.

India's befitting reply

India gave a befitting reply to this cowardly act of Pakistan and destroyed four airbases of Pakistan by targeting them. Gradually the tension between the two countries increased a lot and the situation became very delicate.

On the other hand, Pakistan's uneasiness kept increasing and then came the tweet of US President Donald Trump, in which he said that both India and Pakistan have agreed for ceasefire with immediate effect.

Ceasefire was announced on Saturday

A ceasefire was declared between the two countries on Saturday. However, a few hours after this, drones were again sent from Pakistan's side and the ceasefire was violated. But, the situation became normal again in a short time.

Trump is considered to have played a major role in bringing about an agreement between the two countries. US Secretary of State Marco Rubio had said that he and Vice President JD Vance talked to the top leaders of India and Pakistan all night and then also talked to PM Modi, after which a ceasefire agreement was reached between the two countries.

‘Can the Kashmir issue be resolved or not?’

Now US President Donald Trump has posted another post on the morning of May 11, in which he has praised both India and Pakistan. He wrote, “I am very proud of the strong and steadfast leadership of India and Pakistan.”

"I'm proud that the United States was able to help you reach this historic and heroic decision. Although it hasn't even been discussed, I am going to substantially increase trade with both of these great countries," Trump posted.

He said, "Besides this, I will work with both of you to see if a solution can be found regarding Kashmir after so many years."

‘We will increase trade with both India and Pakistan’

US President Donald Trump said in a Truth Social post late Saturday night that he would increase trade with both India and Pakistan. He said, "I will work closely with India and Pakistan to see if after 'a thousand years' we can find a solution to Kashmir."
