News Topical, Digital Desk : The havoc of speeding was once again witnessed on the roads of Noida, Uttar Pradesh. A Range Rover Defender car worth ₹2.5 crore (25 million rupees) lost control and hit four cars and a motorcycle in quick succession. Police arrived at the scene upon receiving information about the incident and have launched an investigation.

The accident occurred near Gulshan Mall in Sector 129, under the jurisdiction of the Sector 135 police station. The accident caused widespread panic in the area, with many people gathering at the scene. However, the relief is that no one was killed and everyone suffered minor injuries. Police have arrested the accused car driver.

Police reached the spot

Upon receiving the information, police arrived at the scene and brought the situation under control. The accused driver has been taken into custody. The accused driver has reportedly been identified as Sunit, son of Karam Singh, a resident of Sector 100, Noida.

 According to preliminary investigation, Sunit was trying to take a turn near Gulshan Tiraha when his Range Rover suddenly went out of control and collided with an oncoming Swift Dzire car.

The impact of the collision was so severe that the Dzire car, along with three other vehicles, was also hit. A passing motorcyclist was also injured. Both the car and bike riders suffered minor injuries and received first aid at the scene.

Police have detained the Range Rover driver and seized the vehicle. Traffic police have cleared the damaged vehicles from the roadside and restored traffic. The accident caused panic among residents. Police are investigating the incident, examining the car's speed, braking system, and camera footage.
