Orange alert issued for many districts of Rajasthan

The weather department has issued an orange alert for heavy rainfall in Jaipur, Dausa, Alwar, Bharatpur, Karauli, Sawai Madhopur, Tonk, Ajmer, Bhilwara, Jhunjhunu and Sikar districts for the next 24 hours. According to officials, 605.7 mm rainfall has been recorded in the state so far, which is 55 percent more than the normal 391.6 mm.
