New Delhi. NEET-UG 2024: Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan has expressed happiness over the detailed decision of the Supreme Court on NEET-UG on Friday and said that this is the victory of truth. He said that the government is committed to conducting the examination without any disturbance and with transparency. Whatever instructions the court has given in this regard, he will follow them to the letter.
The recommendations of the committee will be implemented.
He said that whatever recommendations are made by the committee formed to prevent irregularities in the examinations and to reform the NTA will be implemented as soon as possible. He said that this conclusion of the court completely rejects the lies and propaganda spread regarding the examination. It also protects the interests of those lakhs of hardworking students.
What did the Union Education Minister say on the court's decision?
He thanked the court for its decision on NEET and said that this has averted the attempt to spoil the hard work of lakhs of students. It is worth mentioning that the government had constituted a high level committee on 24 June to prevent irregularities in the examination and to reform NTA. The government had asked it to submit its report in two months.
The Supreme Court had given its verdict on NEET-UG on 23 July. In which it was made clear that there was no systemic lapse in the examination.
