It is necessary to maintain law and order. Strict action will be taken against those entering highly sensitive areas and destroying public property.

Internet banned in five districts

According to ANI, the Manipur government has extended the internet suspension and mobile data services in five districts till September 20. The state home department on Sunday issued an order extending the suspension of internet and mobile data services in Imphal West, Imphal East, Thoubal, Bishnupur and Kakching districts.

Earlier, the state government had imposed a ban on internet services for five days from September 10. The ban was to end on Sunday, but in view of the current situation, the government decided to extend it.
