News Topical, Digital Desk : After the agitation against the KP Sharma Oli government in Nepal, the people of Nepal have demanded to hand over the reins of the country to a leader like Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

The people of Nepal also shared their views on the concerns, expectations and perspectives of the country in the conversation. Satisfied with the 35-hour-long anti-government movement in Nepal, people said that Nepal needs a leader like PM Modi, who can prioritize the welfare of the country. India has made remarkable changes in the last decade under the leadership of PM Modi and we want to see similar progress in Nepal. For now, a short-term government would be better, after which proper elections should be held.

'We need a PM who can keep the country united'

Some youths believe that only a young leader can save the country from its mess. Dipendra Vishwakarma said that Nepal urgently needs a Prime Minister who can unite the country. Such a big movement has taken place and instead of focusing on personal or political differences, all the leaders should sit together and discuss the real issues facing the country.

'Nepal should insist on becoming a global power like India'

Another youth said that Nepal should focus on becoming a global power like India. If we want to progress technologically and economically, then we need a young and active leader who can take Nepal towards the future. There is also sharp criticism of some political figures in the country.

A youth said that Sushila Karki should not be made the Prime Minister of Nepal. Balendra Shah, Kulman Ghising and Gopi Hamal can prove to be better leaders than her. Sushila Karki will not help Nepal to move forward. Some other youth said that Sushila Karki's name has cropped up in many scams and scandals. She is not capable of leading Nepal.
