Hair should be dried thoroughly before sleeping because there is a greater risk of wet hair breaking. When hair is wet, it is very weak. In such a situation, one should try to dry the hair thoroughly in cold air before sleeping.

2) Using heat on wet hair

Often people use straighteners or other heat-based tools on wet or slightly wet hair. According to Amit, this habit is very damaging to the hair. These things should always be used only after the hair has dried completely. If you want to protect your hair from damage even more, then do not forget to use heat-protectant products before using heating tools.

3) Sleeping with open hair

The third most damaging habit for hair that Amit Thakur has mentioned is sleeping with open hair at night. Sleeping with open hair increases the risk of hair breakage. While sleeping, friction is created between the hair and the pillow while turning sides, which increases the problem of hair breakage. Therefore, always tie your hair in a loose pony or a small braid before sleeping.
