He revealed that his partner Shivon Gillis is half Indian and that one of his sons' middle names is a reference to Indian scientist Subrahmanyan Chandrasekhar.

Musk's revelations about Shivon Gillis

" My partner Shivon is half Indian, " Elon Musk said on Zerodha founder Nikhil Kamath's podcast 'WTF is?' He revealed that one of his sons has the middle name ' Shekhar ' , inspired by Indian-American Nobel-winning scientist Subrahmanyan Chandrasekhar.

Musk also provided details about Gillis' childhood. He said that Shevon was born in Canada and was adopted as a baby. " I don't know all the details, but it seems her father was an exchange student at a university, " Musk said.

Shivon Gillis joined Musk's company, Neuralink, in 2017 and is currently the director of operations and special projects. She holds degrees in economics and philosophy from Yale University.

Shivon Gillies and Elon Musk have four children : twins Strider and Azure, daughter Arcadia, and son Seldon Lycurgus.

Musk praises Indian talent

During the podcast, Nikhil Kamath said that the United States has long attracted talent from around the world, which many in India refer to as a " brain drain . " Musk agreed, saying, " The United States has benefited greatly from the talented Indian people who have come over the years. " Musk acknowledged that people of Indian origin have made significant contributions to American technology and innovation.
