News Topical, Digital Desk : A shocking incident has come to light from Muzaffarnagar, a district in western Uttar Pradesh, where a woman's protest against abusive language and obscenity proved costly. The accused youth brutally assaulted her in public.
The entire incident was captured on a CCTV camera installed in a nearby house, a video of which is now viral on social media. Based on the victim's complaint, police have arrested the accused youth, Shoaib, and an investigation has been launched.
Here is the whole matter
The incident took place in the Nawabpura neighborhood of the Kotwali New Mandi area. The victim, Sabreen, is Shoaib's maternal aunt's daughter. It is alleged that Shoaib and his brother, Savage, were using obscene language while under the influence of alcohol. When Sabreen protested, the accused began assaulting her.
The video clearly shows the accused dragging and beating the woman on the road. Giving details, CO New Mandi, Raju Kumar Sao, stated that the video was taken around 12:00 noon on September 15th and was from Kukra Mohalla, Nawabpura, New Mandi.
Video of the incident surfaced
When this video was seen, the fact that came to light in this video was that Bhura and Shoaib, both of them are maternal aunt's brothers. They were fighting among themselves over some issue. At the same time, the wife of a person named Bhura, Sabeen, came and in order to save her husband, she pushed and beat him. This incident has happened, the video of which has been made. After receiving a complaint from Sabeen, a case has been registered under relevant sections.
The person who assaulted Shoaib has been arrested by the police and legal action has been taken against him. The police is still investigating the entire incident. In the application, the woman has also mentioned misbehaviour, so those points are also being investigated and the investigation is still going on. Whatever further evidence is found, action will be taken.
The victim woman made these allegations
The victim woman, Sabreen, alleges that he came to our house after drinking alcohol and misbehaved with us, abused us. We asked him why are you abusing us, he stood here and misbehaved with me again, tore my clothes, dragged me into the street and beat me badly. We have lodged a complaint with the police.
The victim says that the police did not do anything and let them go. The person who assaulted him is named Shoaib. He is our relative. He also showed us a pistol and said that he would shoot us in the chest. He is still threatening us.
The woman said that the accused brandished a pistol and said, "I'll shoot you wherever I see you." His two brothers, Savage and Shadab, were also with him. "I want to know why he was released. He should be arrested again."
